About Emily
Emily has twenty years of professional experience serving the nonprofit sector as a grants fundraising consultant, executive director, board member, and volunteer. She attributes her uncommon results as a grants professional to her unique combination of expertise gained from work within the nonprofit sector and prior ten-year banking/finance career as a Vice President/Corporate Loan Officer. After completing formal credit training, Emily's roles included managing credit underwriting for several lending divisions, authoring bank credit and underwriting policies and white papers, credit training for primarily recent MBA graduates, several major bank-wide regulatory compliance projects throughout New England, and loan portfolios of up to $150 million representing corporate, real estate, high tech, franchise, sports team, nonprofit, hospital, faith-based and other client relationships.
Having a strong passion for serving the "greater good", Emily left a successful banking career to contribute her time and talents to helping nonprofit clients solve important issues. Emily’s banking and finance background proved highly transferable to the grants profession based on the numerous grant awards she has received from major foundations, corporations, and government funding sources.
